The Orange Movement™ is a global effort to mobilize US$10 billion by 2030 and empower 100 million women, girls, and gender minorities, particularly in emerging markets. Derived from the color of UN SDG 5: Gender Equality, the Movement taps into the multi-trillion-dollar capital market to place women, girls, and gender minorities at the forefront of solutions for the UN’s SDGs, to build a more inclusive and climate-resilient future.

As an Orange Alliance Partner, Impact Cap will explore opportunities to align up to US$10 million over the next five years with the Orange Bond Principles™, the world’s first global standard for gender-empowered finance. Impact Cap’s approach includes providing women-owned and underrepresented asset managers with strategic fundraising narratives, investor engagement, due diligence preparation, impact reporting, and fractional leadership support.

“For too long, women and diverse managers have been sidelined in finance, controlling less than 2% of global assets under management,” said Natasha Garcha, Senior Director, Innovative Finance and Gender-Lens Investing Specialist at IIX.

“The Orange Movement changes that by making gender equality a global financial standard. With Impact Cap as an Alliance Partner, we are turning commitment into capital, and capital into systems change – moving women from the margins to the mainstream of global markets.”

“At Impact Cap, we believe women-owned and diverse managers are engines of innovation, inclusion, and performance,” said Sudha Bharadia, CEO at Impact Cap. “Partnering with the Orange Movement allows us to connect these managers to global standards and capital flows, ensuring they can thrive and scale with purpose.”

Together, IIX and Impact Cap will collaborate on:

  • Unlocking new sources of gender-lens capital for women-owned and underrepresented asset managers.
  • Applying global standards of transparency and accountability in sustainable finance.
  • Building capacity through advisory, training, and participation in the annual Orange Forum.

These efforts aim to drive inclusive and sustainable growth for women and underserved communities, setting a precedent for the future of global finance.
