Advisory Council

Play Your Part in a Gender-Equal and Climate-Resilient Tomorrow

The Orange Movement™ is recruiting for its inaugural Advisory Council composed of a diverse group of thought leaders and stakeholders, emphasizing representation from women, marginalized communities, and the Global South. This advisory body will play a critical role in shaping the vision and impact of the Orange Movement™ by providing insights and recommendations focused on democratizing access to capital, promoting gender equality, driving climate action, and fostering inclusive growth.


Who Can Apply

We invite applications from organizations and individuals who are passionate about creating positive change. This includes investment firms, financial institutions, corporations, consultancy firms, government agencies, high-impact enterprises or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), foundations, and civil society organizations. If you are involved in sectors that align with the Orange Movement’s mission to promote sustainability, gender equality, and climate resilience, we encourage you to apply.


Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected based on their proven track record in advancing sustainability through finance or development. We seek individuals and organizations that have demonstrated a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their leadership roles. Additionally, applicants should have practical experience in driving systemic change, whether through innovative business models, sustainable finance, policy influence, or grassroots-level impact.

Advisory Council Structure

Members of the Advisory Council will be appointed for a two-year term. During this period, they will be organized into three working groups:

Each group will be chaired by a member of the Steering Committee. These working groups will meet two to three times per year and will actively contribute to advancing the strategic objectives of the Orange Movement™. The council’s collaborative efforts will be instrumental in driving forward initiatives that promote financial sustainability, gender equality, and climate action on a global scale.

How to Apply

To express your interest in joining the 2024 Advisory Council, please submit your application by November 8, 2024. 
All submissions will be reviewed by the Steering Committee, and selected candidates will be notified
by December 20, 2024, when the official announcement of the Advisory Council members will be made.
