November 17-18, 2025
Jakarta, Indonesia
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
In a year marked by intersecting crises — from tightening fiscal space and soaring debt to accelerating climate shocks — one truth stands clear: the financing models of yesterday are no longer enough.
With the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) financing gap ballooning into the trillions, grant-heavy and siloed approaches have proven insufficient to meet the scale of today’s challenges.
At the same time, the future of resilient, inclusive economies is being shaped by the Global South. While parts of the Global North retreat into protectionism, countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America are advancing climate-smart, gender-equal solutions. Their leadership shows that progress depends on market-led approaches that unlock private capital at scale, and on placing women and underserved communities at the center as equal partners in achieving the SDGs.
Indonesia stands at the helm of this momentum. Home to the largest Orange Bond issuance and the world’s first Orange Sukuk, it has set a global benchmark for inclusive, climate-smart finance. Calls for greater equity at home also underscore the universal need for financial systems that are not only innovative but also fair and inclusive.
As Asia-Pacific emerges as a vital engine for sustainable development, Indonesia’s leadership offers a roadmap for the region. From Jakarta to Dhaka, Hanoi to Colombo, the Orange Movement™ is catalyzing a regional shift toward gender-equal, climate-resilient economies.
Orange Forum 2025 will be a landmark convening that reshapes the global narrative: shifting the focus from aid to action, from fragmented flows to ecosystem-wide solutions.
Bringing together institutional investors, policymakers, and civil society under the spirit of the Orange Movement™, the Forum is not another dialogue but a platform to close the SDG financing gap.
By recognizing women and underserved communities as multipliers, it will show how building inclusive capital markets is the key to achieving true climate justice, a just transition, and equitable economic growth.
In the spirit of inclusivity, participation in the Orange Forum is free of charge—reflecting our belief that access to dialogue and collaboration should know no barriers.
